WORKING OF JAW CRUSHER
Crushing is managed by pulping or material by law plates dully placed at due angle for maximum output and minimum consumption of power and exerting appropriate thrust on the crushing zone as well on the whole body. The basic thrust is obtained by the eccentric movement of pitman which is transferred to lever with the help of rear and front toggle plates connect the pitman with lever and toggle block. The lever consists of one jaw plate (moving) which exerts the thrust on the other jaw plate (fixed) on the body. This thrust crusher the material between the jaw plates. Then crusher material travels down ward by gravity and falls on the discharge chutes. The sizes of products can be adjusted by cutting or increasing the toggle plates and lowering the wedge blocks.
STANDARD SPECIFICATION:
STEEL BODY : The body of jaw crusher is fabricated from prime quality M.S Plates and reinforced by Co2 Mig welding process. The body is so fabricated to ensure that it is capable of enduring stress and crushing load developed during continuous crushing.
SWING LEVER : Lever is also fabricated from M.S plates and welded with Mig welding process. The hinge pin is fitted in lever and pivoted at both the ends with taper bush.
PITMAN : Pitman is fabricated from M.S plates by Mig welding process. The pitman is machined and four bearing is mounted eccentric shaft. The two bearing are fitted inside the pitman and two bearing are fitted outside the pitman in C.I. Brackets on eccentric shaft. The provision for grease lubrication system is made on the top of pitman.
ECCENTRIC SHAFT : The eccentric shaft is machined out of special steel and due eccentric is maintained and fitted in the centre of pitman with four self aligned double roller spherical bearing of high capacity ensuring smooth running.
JAW PLATES : Jaw Plates are made of high quality manganese steel casting containing 12 to 14% Manganese. Two jaw plates is used, one is fixed and another is moving. These plates can be reserved end to obtained maximum life of each jaw plates.
FLY WHEELS : Fly wheels are of high grade cast iron, machined all over, properly balanced and fitted on the end of the cranks shaft. One Fly wheels is V-grooned for V- Belts and another is flat. These wheels can be inter changed from side to side. Fly wheels ensure steady crushing force, giving control to unsymmetrical force.
TOGGLE BEARINGS : Toggle bearing are made from M.s Square Bars or casted in manganese steel. Four Toggle Bearing required in a jaw Crusher.
TOGGLE PLATES : The toggle plates are fabricated from M.S plates and well designed for correct jaw movement. The toggle bearing serves as safeguard in case of uncrushed materials enters between the jaw plates. The Toggle plates get broken saving the breakage of other parts like bearing, Crank shaft etc.
TOGGLE BLOCK AND WEDGE BLOCKS : Toggle and wedge Blocks is also machined out of high grade cast iron. These are fitted n the rear portion of jaw body to control the thrust in that direction.
LUBRICATION : Grease nipples are approved on the upper position of the pitman and brackets. Two holes are provided on the upper of the lever for oiling. Oiling and greasing shall be done after every 7 days in the machine for longer life of the bearings.
PULL BACK ROD AND SPRING : To keep the both the toggle plates in their assembly position and pull back the lever, sturdy design of pull back rod along with quality steel spring are provided. Remarks :
